Email News Alerts

A major waterline extension project in Alexandria will be split almost 50-50 between the city and the residents who will tap into the new line.

At its meeting on October 15, the Alexandria City Council adopted the final assessments for the project, located in the phase four, part one orderly annexation area in Alexandria Township.

Single-family residential properties will pay $6,500. The assessment can be spread over 10 years at a 5 percent interest rate.
