Whether you are curious about old-fashioned farming or just looking to have a good time with your family, the Rose City Threshing and Heritage Festival will keep all ages entertained.

The event will take place Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10 at the Rose City show grounds, two miles west of Rose City. Gates open at 8 a.m. each day.

Admission for the entire weekend is $8. Ages 12 and younger are admitted free.

Following is a schedule of the weekend’s attractions:

 SATURDAY

8-10:30 a.m. Breakfast.

9 a.m. Safety meeting.

10 a.m. Threshing.

11 a.m. Parade.

11 a.m. Pork chop lunch begins.

Noon. Tractor Pull.

2 p.m. Threshing.

3 p.m. Osakis Trailblazers Saddle Club performance.

 SUNDAY

8-10:30 a.m. Breakfast.

9 a.m. Church service.

10 a.m. Threshing.

11 a.m. Parade.

11 a.m. Pork chop lunch begins.

2 p.m. Threshing.

2 p.m. Lawn mower/ATV pull.

2 p.m. Red Letter Band.

Other attractions include: Corn sheller, chain saw carving, sawmill, gas engines, print shop, information booth, steam engines, blacksmith shop, plowing, old cars/trucks, tractor displays, Rose City French fries, live music, log cabin, free primitive camping, flea market/crafts, children's games, children's prizes, 4-H ice cream, children's barn, quilters, general store and museum.
