Family fun evening set at Catalyst Church

Catalyst, a new church in Douglas County, is hosting a family fun evening on Sunday, October 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alexandria YMCA.

There will be swimming, pool games, waterslide fun, sports and games for adults and kids in the gym, along with free food. There will be a brief introduction to Catalyst, which is a new "church without walls," meeting at various locations around the Alexandria area.

There is no cost for the evening and guests do not need to be members of the YMCA to attend. Kids and adults are welcome. Children should be accompanied by one parent.

Catalyst is hosting preview worship services at 10 a.m. Sundays, November 7 and December 5, and weekly worship beginning January 2011 at Woodland Elementary School in Alexandria.
