Environmental health moves to services center
After operating for the past one and a half years from a temporary location at 1500 Irving Street, Douglas and Pope Counties Environmental Health will move back to the recently remodeled location at the Douglas County Services Center, 725 Elm Street, Alexandria. It will move on Friday, March 8.
This move will affect those persons needing all services from Douglas and Pope Counties Environmental Health.
Services include licenses for food, beverage and lodging, manufactured home parks, recreational camping areas, youth camps and swimming pools, along with other sanitarian services such as special event licenses, radon kits and establishment plan reviews.
Special event license applications and the radon kits will still be available at Pope County Public Health Offices in Glenwood.
