Entries sought for Humanities Fine Arts exhibit
The Humanities Fine Arts (HFA) Gallery of the University of Minnesota, Morris is accepting entries for the Local Color: Artists from the Lake Region exhibit. It will survey West Central Minnesota artists, working in a range of mediums and subject matter, residing in Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse or Wilkin counties.
The exhibit will be held at the HFA Gallery January 17 through March 14, 2013.
Any creative person regardless of age, sex and occupation may submit. There is no entry fee or size, weight or medium limitations. The deadline is October 15.
The mission of the HFA Gallery is to provide an accessible venue that supports the educational, cultural and artistic experiences of students, faculty, staff and the community.
Submit 1-5 entries in the form of digital images saved in JPEG format (.jpg) at 96 pixels per inch (ppi) with no more than 7 inches (or 672 pixels) along the longest dimension of the image. Label each file with artist's last name, period, first initial, underscore and number (ex. SMITH.J_1.jpg).
Image list in Word .doc or .pdf. List containing the following information: name, title of work, media, dimensions (HxWxD in inches) and the date the work was created. Should correspond to the numerical sequence of images provided.
