Eileen Josephine Bouressa, age 86 of Clarksville, Tenn. died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at her residence. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1 at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. William Childress officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Troy Colon, Brian Colon, Matthew Marty, Keith Wilson, Jason Butler and Terry Cutich. Scott Bouressa will serve as honorary pallbearer. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Eileen Josephine Bouressa was born Feb. 10, 1923 in Donnelly Township, daughter of Edwin Harstad and Inga Olson Harstad. She was the widow of Gene N. Bouressa. Eileen was a cook for Eastgate Bowling Alley. She was a member of Kongsvinger Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Inga Harstad of Morris, husband Gene Bouressa of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Donnelly, one daughter Bonnie Colon of Louisville, Ky., one brother Ervin Harstad of Morris, one sister Delores Leuty of Yuma, Ariz.
She is survived by four sons, Ronald Bouressa (Janet) of Morris, Lamar Bouressa (Mary) of Clarksville, Tenn., Edwin Bouressa (Linda) of Charleston, S.C., Fred Bouressa of Clarksville, Tenn., one daughter Beverly Marty (Harold) of Clarksville, Tenn., nine grandchildren Scott Bouressa (Char) of Brainerd, Anita Heikkinen (Don) of Hancock, Jennifer McClenahan (Jon) of Willmar, Amanda Cutich (Terry) of Clarksville, Tenn., Matthew Marty (Kerensa) of Clarksville, Tenn., Elysia Wilson (Keith) of Clarksville, Tenn., Marcy Butler (Jason) of Clarksville, Tenn., Troy Colon, (Corey) of Louisville, Ky., Brian Colon (Angela) of Zionsville, Ind., and numerous great grandchildren.
