Ecumen 'Lights of Honor' celebration set for Sunday, November 4
To mark Ecumen's 150-year history of nonprofit service, Ecumen Bethany Community will host a "Lights of Honor" celebration on Sunday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m. Dozens of paper and floating lanterns will be lighted in honor and memory of heroes and loved ones.
Residents, friends, families and the greater Alexandria community are invited to join the celebration. The honor lanterns are available for purchase, $50 per lantern, and proceeds will be used to complete Ecumen Bethany's resident garden landscaping.
The annual All-Saints Service will provide the opportunity of reflection. Refreshments will be served after the service.
Ecumen is a nonprofit provider of senior housing and services, empowering individuals to live richer and fuller lives.
