Deputies located a suspect who had left the residence driving a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Deputies and Long Prairie police officers attempted to stop the vehicle near Long Prairie. The driver, Terry Jean Russell, fled from law enforcement in the vehicle, according to authorities.

Officers pursued the vehicle for about 26 miles through Todd County into Morrison County. At times, the suspect's speeds reached more than 100 miles per hour, authorities said.

Morrison County sheriff's deputies were able to safely end the chase with a pursuit intervention technique (PIT) maneuver in Little Falls. The Grand Prix sustained moderate damage as a result.

Russell was arrested and charges are pending for numerous violations, including fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, second-degree DWI test refusal, careless driving, damage to property, no insurance, driving after revocation and speeding.

The Little Falls Police Department also assisted in the pursuit.
