An 18-year-old driver in a head-on crash that killed Lucille Vogt, 77, of Parkers Prairie last September is accused of sending text messages minutes before the collision.

Kayla Carry of Browerville, who made her first appearance in Otter Tail County District Court on January 31, faces 10 years in prison for vehicular homicide. She was also charged with operating a motor vehicle in a grossly negligent manner.
