Do good and donate blood this summer

"For many, school is just around the corner and vacation time is almost done, but there's still time to do some good this summer," said Geoff Kaufmann, CEO of the local Red Cross Blood Services region. "By donating blood, you can help patients across the country who need blood products every day."
Upcoming blood donation opportunities include:
Monday, August 24 - noon to 6 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 605 Douglas Street, Alexandria.
