The District 206 Creating Learners Preschool Program will have an open house on Tuesday, February 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the District 206 early Education Center in Alexandria.

Attendees can meet the teachers, visit the classrooms and register for preschool for the 2013-14 school year.

Classes for children who turn 3 by September 1 will be Tuesday and Thursday mornings or afternoons for three hours.

Classes for children who turn 4 by September 1 will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for four hours and afternoons for three and a half hours.

Creating Learners is designed to:

--Prepare children to go to kindergarten.

--Provide high quality social and academic educational learning experiences.

--Enhance brain development.

--Introduce children to the joy and love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Registration forms will be mailed by February 11 to all eligible children who are on the school census.

If a form is not received, call (320) 762-3305 to get on the school census to receive all future mailings from District 206.
