District 206 earns highest quality rating for preschool program
Alexandria School District 206 has earned a 4-Star Parent Aware Rating, the highest possible rating, for its Creating Learners preschool program.
The district's Early Education Center volunteered to be part of the Parent Aware rating system from the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
The rating is effective in classrooms where school-based pre-K standards are implemented by using Parent Aware-approved curriculum and assessments.
The Minnesota Department of Education and The Minnesota Department of Human Services have collaborated to recognize programs that are excelling in the use of best practices and proven approaches in preparing children for kindergarten.
Becoming a 4-Star Parent Aware program assures parents of a high quality early education program that is committed to ensuring children enter school ready to learn.
