The Minnesota Board on Aging will have a booth in the Education Building, where the Senior LinkAge Line®, http://www.minnesotahelp.info/, and DHS efforts and services will be featured.

This year, the booth will highlight SHARE Minnesota, an initiative of Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon that connects seniors to volunteer opportunities when they call the Senior LinkAge Line®. This is part of the linkage line's One Stop Shop for Minnesota Seniors, a program launched at last year's State Fair that also helps seniors and their families with government service-related questions.

DHS information on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and materials and surveys for the "Own Your Future" campaign will also be at the booth. "Own Your Future" is an initiative being launched by Lt. Gov. Prettner Solon and Human Services Commissioner Lucinda Jesson that encourages Minnesotans to plan for the care they will need as they grow older.

The Disability Linkage Line, a statewide information, referral and assistance service, and Disability Benefits 101 (DB101), an online tool with information on health coverage, benefits and employment, will have materials and hold demonstrations at the Minnesota State Council on Disability's booth, also located in the Education Building.
