Park Christian was within four points after halftime before Brandon-Evansville went on a 10-0 run over three minutes. The Chargers never relinquished that advantage as they went on to secure a 45-32 win.

“We didn’t shoot very well,” head coach Dick Simpson said. “Our shooting was as cold as it could be, but we played good defense and had a spurt in the second half.”

The Chargers won despite hitting on just 16-of-65 field goals. They were 10-17 from the free throw line and held Park Christian to a 15-of-51 night from the field.

Emma Friedrich was the catalyst with a double-double. She finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Carrigan Okerlund had nine points, while Melissa Haseman had 12 rebounds to go along with five points. Elizabeth Vinson also chipped in with eight rebounds, three assists and four points.
