David Paulson, 69
David Morgan Paulson, 69, died Monday, May 5, 2014.
David was born December 7, 1944, in Osceloa, Wisconsin, the son of Morgan and Grace (Kobes) Paulson. Dave graduated from Osceola High School and furthered his education at Eau Claire State College.
After college, David worked for Bellanca Aircraft in Wisconsin.
On December 13, 1963, David was united in marriage to Patricia Skifstad in Osceola, WI. The couple moved to Alexandria when Bellanca transferred there. After working for Bellanca, Dave was employed by Garfield Truss.
He will be remembered as the grill master who loved to grill or cook and was very creative with the different dishes he prepared. Dave was also a great outdoorsman and truly enjoyed whatever he did outside, whether it was hunting, fishing or working in his vegetable garden and would can or pickle the different items that came from there.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pat; sons, Mike (Sara), and Matt of Alexandria; grandchildren, Anlya, Max, Emma and Eryn; and sister, June Givler of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his son, Perry; and his parents.
Memorial services were held Monday, May 12 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery in East Farmington, WI.
