The local club hosted two shows, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, that gave fans a chance to see some talented young skaters from around the area. The club also honored coach Connie Brunkow for her dedication of 25 years in the AFSC.

In addition to the local youth skaters, the Ice Show also featured two numbers by guest skater Abby Richardson from Minneapolis. Richardson skates with the American Ice Theater.

The AFSC offers group basic-skill lessons for skaters who are learning to skate and also private lessons for those who are advanced beyond the basic skills. Skaters within the program come from surrounding communities that include Alexandria, Brandon, Glenwood, Osakis, Carlos and Miltona.
