Crashes continue; slow down, says trooper
Today's light dusting of snow on top of compacted roadways is making travel slippery and hazardous on roads throughout the region.
Sergeant Jesse Grabow with the Minnesota State Patrol reported that as of 4:31 p.m., troopers in northwest and west central Minnesota responded to 33 crashes, eight with injuries, and 13 rollovers. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
An additional 61 vehicles slid off roads and required tow assistance, he added. "Please slow down!" Grabow said.
