Signed off on Pope/Douglas Solid Waste Management's 2009 budget; a 9 percent increase over 2008.
Approved a roughly $37,000 federal grant for two local schools to install and update their security camera systems.
Authorized a permit for a new indoor/outdoor year-round golf teaching center and driving range, set to be built south of Interstate 94 near LaGrand Township.
