Concerned for people who don’t trust God

Email

To the editor:

Jeanne Johnson and others are certain that there is climate change (global warming) and it is manmade. They are very sincere and trusting in the predictions made by many scientists around the world. Those predictions have not come true. Instead of the polar ice disappearing, it has increased.

The Bible is the inspired word of God and is never wrong. God is the one who created the universe, our earth, and everything in it. Carbon dioxide is a natural element God made and is necessary for life on our planet. Without it, plants could not survive.

I’m much more concerned about people who do not trust and obey God. It is evident that there is much evil in the world. God hates sin and will judge each one of us. We are all sinners and need to be saved from our sin by believing in Jesus Christ and asking for forgiveness. Jesus is the only way to heaven.

God destroyed the earth with a flood because the people were so sinful. Only Noah, who loved God, and his family, were saved in the ark along with the animals. Those people refused to believe that God would send a flood. It had never rained before. They chose not to believe and all drowned.

The Bible tells us in several places that God is going to judge the world again because of sin. Revelation tells the various judgments from God during the Great Tribulation (seven years). It will be a terrible time, yet many will still refuse to love and obey God.

Everyone must choose to believe God, or not. Choices have consequences. “For the wages of sin is death (eternal), but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

Choose Jesus! God loves you!
