A comeback effort was there for the Ashby girls’ basketball team as it came back from a halftime 31-25 deficit to take a lead, but Henning was able to recover for a 56-49 victory Tuesday.

“Our ladies played extremely hard tonight and I am proud of how they never quit,” head coach Troy Mickelson said.

Cassandra Jordan led the Arrows with 14 points, followed by Madison VanSanten with 10. Abbi Ras, Sara Anderson and Kerstyn Schroeder contributed six points each for Ashby.
