The Knights shot 31 percent from the field while the Johnnies enjoyed a 46 percent shooting night. Head coach Kraig Hunter said WCA’s streaky shooting has been the case throughout the season.

“There has been no happy medium,” he said. “There’s no doubt we have plenty of good shooters, so hopefully we can make that more consistent.”

Jay Zimmerman and Dakotah Kashmark led the Knights’ offense with 14 points each. Andrew Bender and Grant Franke scored 17 points each to lead St. John’s.

The loss dropped WCA to 5-2 in the conference this season.
