CLCA presents first concert of the season: Stringfever
The Central Lakes Concert Association (CLCA) is beginning its 26th season with the Broadbent family string quartet, Stringfever.
The first concert of the season will take place Saturday, October 3 in the gym at Jefferson High School at 7:30 p.m.
The group will perform on their five- and six-stringed electric violins, which are called violectras, along with a viola and a cello.
The group has been hailed as the world's first "genetically modified" string quartet.
