Church for the Harvest celebrates 10 years of ministry
The public is invited to join Church for the Harvest each Sunday in October as the church celebrates 10 years of ministry. Services are at 10 a.m. each Sunday at the church, 1910 Aga Drive in Alexandria.
Church for the Harvest was formed in the fall of 1999. Pastors Mike and Rhonda Bartolomeo transitioned the church from a weekly meeting in their home to a public setting in October 2000. The members then met at Alexandria Technical College and Discovery Middle School. The church is now located on Aga Drive, across from the Alexandria Airport.
The mission-oriented church has outreach partnerships with the United Way, Love INC, Minnesota Teen Challenge and Harbor Lights Shelter in Minneapolis.
Children in kindergarten through grade 6 meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Youth in grades 7 to 12 can attend The Rock, an adult-supervised youth facility with several activities, including Bible teaching.
