Children and families invited to library

To the editor:
The Douglas County Library has a mission to provide equal access to resources and facilities that meet informational, recreational and cultural needs of all its citizens.
The library is located in the lower level of the County Services Center and is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All residents of Douglas County are eligible for a free library card. The Douglas County Library offers books, DVDs, audiobooks and magazines for checkout. The library also offers a collection of e-books and downloadable audiobooks that are compatible with almost all tablets and e-readers.
Children and families are invited to participate in our story hours and Summer Reading Program.
