Each summer for the past five years, Pat and Phil Haabala have turned a playhouse in their yard into a lemonade stand to raise money for charity. They call it "Grandma Pat's Lemonade Stand Day." Kids - including those from Haabalas' daughter's daycare - operate the stand. This year, the funds will go to the American Cancer Society and/or Isaac's Foundation. Two years ago, Haabalas' grandson, Cole, was diagnosed with Wilms disease, a rare form of kidney cancer, and Pat herself is a 16-year cancer survivor, so fighting cancer has a personal meaning for the family. Last year, more than $1,000 was raised through the lemonade stand.
