Cassie and the Bobs to perform tribute to Patsy Cline on February 14

Cassy Wiesner will deliver Cline’s vocals in songs such as Crazy, Walking After Midnight, I Fall to Pieces and more. Wiesner was previously the lead singer in The Undecided and The Chance. She now lives in Hoffman, where she also sings in the traditional country band The Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboys.1 / 7
Anne O’Flynn of Elbow Lake plays piano and accordion and brings the honky tonk style heard in original Patsy Cline recordings to the show. She also plays with Skilly and Duff and The Salty Dogs.2 / 7
The Bobs’ bass guitarist is Bruce Kelly, a music veteran living near Elbow Lake. He brings nearly 40 years of experience to the show. Some of Kelly’s previous bands include Little Henry, Silverado and Oh Aces. He is part of the trio Skilly and Duff and plays in The Salty Dogs.3 / 7
Randy Barnes, on pedal steel guitar, played a number of country bands including Silverado throughout the 1970s and ‘80s. Since then, he has performed in many local shows as well as two versions of Always, Patsy Cline.4 / 7
Steve Ahles plays lead guitar with the Bobs. Ahles is a music veteran having played with among others, Little Henry. He is currently the guitarist in The Waybacks and plays in many community and church groups in the Milbank, South Dakota area.5 / 7
Guitarist Terry Kennedy of Alexandria has played guitar, banjo and harp since the 1960s with Patty and the Pinetones, The Barking Frogs and the Acoustic Cats. A retired orthopedic surgeon, he has a national reputation for building hand-crafted acoustic guitars. 6 / 7
Drummer Tony Ray has been a member of numerous rock, country and blues bands since 1974. He currently plays with The Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboys while booking and promoting Cassie and the Bobs through his company Good Clean Fun Productions. 7 / 7

Cassie and the Bobs, known for its Patsy Cline tribute show, will perform Friday, February 14 at The Phoenix Event Center in Alexandria. Doors open at 5:45 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the show and dance at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $32.50 and are available at Trumm Drug in Alexandria and the Phoenix. Dinner and a cash bar will be provided by Raaper’s Catering Co. in Alexandria, with salad bar station, mashed potato bar, carvedc prime rib and cheesecake.

Now in its fifth year, Cassie and the Bobs will take audiences on a musical journey back in time to the early 1960s when female country star Patsy Cline was in her prime.
