Cassie and the Bobs to perform free concert
Cassie and the Bobs will perform at the Red Willow Arts Coalition free concert on Thursday, July 25 at 7 p.m. on the lawn at the Douglas County Courthouse in Alexandria.
Cassie and the Bobs have been touring the Midwest for five years and have gathered rave reviews wherever they play. Led by singer Cassie Wiesner, the band portrays Patsy Cline's music and her honky-tonk style.
Other members of the group include Terry Kennedy, guitar; Randy Barnes, pedal steel; Sami Steidl, fiddle; Bruce Kelly, bass guitar; Anne O'Flynn, piano and accordion; Tony Ray, drums; and Steve Ahles, lead guitar.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, listen to KXRA 1490 AM for cancellation information.
The Red Willow Arts Coalition is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide the community with access to more musical experiences.
