Career development grants available for area artists
Any individual artist living in the Lakes Region Arts Council (LRAC) region is invited to participate in the upcoming Career Development grant round.
The purpose of the Career Development Grant Program is to provide financial support to artists committed to advancing their careers.
Applicants may request up to $1,200 for specific projects that contribute directly to their growth and development as professional artists, especially if the project expands the artist's present work in a specific way.
Applications are encouraged from individuals in all art disciplines from the nine-county LRAC region of Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse, and Wilkin counties.
Current grant guidelines and applications are available at lracgrants.org. For additional information, call (218) 739-5780 or toll free in Minnesota at 1-800-262-2787 or e-mail (preferred) firstname.lastname@example.org.
