Cards tie in Bemidji

The Alexandria boys’ hockey team saw its unbeaten streak reach seven games on Saturday as the Cardinals tied Bemidji 1-1 with another late comeback.

Parker Revering scored Alexandria’s only goal and it came in the final minute of the third period. Neither team could find the net in the extra session as the Cardinals moved to 12-3-3 with the tie.

Sam Goetsch had another nice game in net with 27 saves on 28 shots faced. The Lumberjacks outshot the Cardinals 28-19, but the Lumberjacks couldn’t turn those into a lot of goals as they moved to 8-9-1 on the year.
