Cards pick up first win over Grand Rapids

The Alexandria football team came out on top in a battle of winless teams Friday with a 34-3 victory over Grand Rapids at Citizens Field.


The Cardinals were able to score many different ways and held Grand Rapids to just a field goal. After the Cardinals picked up their first win, head coach Mike Empting was happy to see the players rewarded for their work this season.
