Car crashes into cow on Highway 29

Two Alexandria residents escaped serious injury Tuesday night after their car crashed into a cow that had wandered onto Highway 29 north of town.


Timothy Paige, 20, the driver, and his friend, Jennifer Wilde, 19, were traveling north in a 1991 Dodge Shadow at about 11 p.m. when the crash happened, according to the State Patrol.

They suffered only minor injuries, according to the accident report.

Both were wearing their seat belts.
