The BZ Girls will perform at the Red Willow Arts Coalition free concert on Thursday, August 9 at 7 p.m. on the lawn at the Douglas County Courthouse in Alexandria.

The singing/songwriting duo of Tara B (B) and Carol Zimmerman (Z) teamed up in 2009.

Characterized by tight harmony and sweet melodies, both women are independent solo artists and award winning songwriters.

Their combination of raw talent and infectious energy stirs audiences, as they perform pop songs from the past and present.

Tara plays the keyboard while Carol plays guitar.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, listen to KXRA 1400 AM for cancellation information.

The series is sponsored by Anderson Funeral Home and Elden's Fresh Foods.
