Brenton supports Parkers Prairie Pool project

Brenton, a local packaging machinery manufacturer, announced that it will donate $10,000 to the Parkers Prairie Pool Fund.

Funding for the donation comes from Brenton’s employees. At the heart of Brenton’s values, it is a believer in giving back to the community in which it operates.

“I extend a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to the hard working employees of Brenton,” said Ryan Kirksey, general manager of Brenton. “Their commitment to quality every day help[s] make it possible for our company to donate. We are pleased to help the Parkers Prairie Pool Fund with the most charitable donation possible.”

As Brenton’s business has expanded over the years, so has its community support. In 2013, Brenton, along with support from Pro Mach, funded 25 financial gifts to support the local YMCA Phase II Capital campaign and programs including the Harmon Killebrew Hospice Foundation, United Way, and local area school activities.

Other initiatives supported by Brenton include the annual Brenton Scholarship program to recognize outstanding academic achievement among children of employees.

It also supports materials and expertise for a variety of community projects ranging from mentoring local robotics teams to providing a new stainless steel countertop at the local Elks lodge.
