Brenton Engineering expands its facilities

Brenton Engineering, powered by Pro Mach, is expanding its Center of Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence in Alexandria.

An addition of 25,000 square feet will accommodate growth in its packaging machinery solutions business. The expansion will provide additional manufacturing capacity necessary to test sophisticated end-of-line packaging systems.

The new addition to the manufacturing facility and resources will increase Brenton’s production capacity and improve the overall flow of the production processes.

The expansion was fueled by the continued growth it has experienced since 2007 when the first 85,000 square foot addition was made to the facility.

“Brenton has an impressive history of growth,” said Mark Anderson, Pro Mach president and CEO. “Pro Mach is proud of their success and excited to support another project to strengthen Brenton’s position in the packaging industry and Alexandria community.”

Construction will begin in July and is expected to be complete in the fall of 2014, giving the facility a total of 200,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.

“We are committed to our customers and their growing demand for our products,” said Jason Enninga, Brenton vice president of sales. “The additional space will allow us to meet current and future demands for the Brenton, Currie and Orion product lines.”
