Bremer Bank names Iserman president and CEO of the Alexandria Chapter
Bremer Bank recently appointed Brent Iserman to president and chief executive officer of the Alexandria Charter, effective September 1.
Iserman, currently executive vice president and regional manager for Bremer Bank Twin Cities Charter, will move to Alexandria from Minneapolis. He will assume responsibilities from David Kjos, who announced his retirement in May. Kjos will remain at Bremer until the end of the year, working with Iserman on this transition.
"Bremer would not be as strong as it is in this community without David's direction, passion and commitment to establishing such a strong culture and bank," said Greg Hilding, group president for Bremer Bank. "That said, we are excited to have Brent move into this role and continue to lead and grow the Alexandria Charter."
Iserman spent nearly his entire career at Bremer Bank and has nearly 20 years of banking experience. In his current role, Iserman has managed the business and retail banking groups for the Twin Cities Charter, including oversight of its 27 branch locations.
Since moving to Minneapolis in 2008, he has also managed Bremer's Private Client Services, Business Banking, Nonprofit Banking, Treasury Management and SBA teams.
Before his work in the Twin Cities, Iserman was a senior vice president and senior lender in Willmar. He has also worked as a business banker in Brainerd. Prior to that, Iserman worked for Community First Bankshares in business banking in Fergus Falls and Elbow Lake.
Iserman started his career in college working as a teller at Bremer Bank in Detroit Lakes and Grand Forks. Iserman has bachelor's degrees in financial management and marketing with a minor in economics from the University of North Dakota.
"Brent has a proven track record of exceeding financial goals in a number of leadership roles at Bremer," said Hilding.
"I have been so fortunate to be in the position to help build and lead teams at this great organization during my career," said Iserman. "Having the opportunity to lead the Alexandria Charter is really exciting, and I can't wait to spend some time with David to learn more about the success he has achieved."
