Email News Alerts

The Alexandria boys’ basketball team improved on a season-high seven game winning streak with an 80-49 victory over non-conference opponent Bemidji on the road Saturday.

The Cardinals led by only eight points at halftime, but improved play on offense in the second half helped them pull away.

John Vogeler led Alexandria’s offense with 24 points, which included 19 in the second half. Chase Kohler added 17 points and Joe Gorghuber finished with 11.
