Blue Anchors' bats held scoreless in 2-0 loss to Madison

The Alexandria Blue Anchors struggled to get the bats going on Monday night in a 2-0 loss to Madison at Knute Nelson Ballpark.

The Alexandria pitching staff combined to only allow two runs to the Mallards in the game, but the Blue Anchors offense only managed to pick up three hits. Blue Anchors manager Al Newman was happy to see his pitching staff keep the game close and gave the Mallards some credit for a slow night at the plate.
