November 19

A resident reported hearing a gunshot in the field near the Eagles Club. The source of the shots wasn’t found.

Nine drivers were ticketed for parking in no parking zones on the 1900 block of Fillmore Street, the 200 block of 20th Avenue West, the 400 block of 22nd Avenue West and Eric Circle.

Officers investigated a report of young people shooting at squirrels with a BB gun out of a window of a house on Irving Street. They said they weren’t aware they couldn’t shoot BB guns that way and said they wouldn’t do it again.

Officers responded to a call about two pre-teen girls fighting outside of a house on 7th Avenue East. Officers mediated the situation until one of the parents arrived.

Someone stole a package that was placed outside of a resident’s door on North Nokomis Street.
