Cycle of Hope volunteers left Louisville, Kentucky, on June 28 for a two-week journey to celebrate the 20th Annual Cycle of Hope's 1,000 Miles Home Challenge.

Bicyclists will travel into west central Minnesota on Thursday, July 11 as they travel from Willmar to Garfield on local city streets, as well as county and state highways. On Friday, July 12 they will depart Garfield and bike to Detroit Lakes.

Since 1993, the Cycle of Hope riders journey 1,000 miles and raise enough money to enable Habitat for Humanity Manitoba to build a new affordable home for a family in need. The Cycle of Hope has raised over $2.5 million for Habitat for Humanity Manitoba since its inception and looks forward to the annual challenge each year with new and returning cyclists.
