B-E loses third straight

The Brandon-Evansville football team lost their third straight game to Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 44-6 last Friday on the road in Wheaton. Although the Chargers were outplayed by the 2012 state participant Warriors, head coach Tim Pattrin was happy with some of the things he saw in the game.

0 Talk about it

“Despite the score, I am very proud of our guys tonight,” Pattrin said. “They were in the right places doing their jobs but we just didn’t finish tackles.”

Running back James Huisman led the Brandon-Evansville offense with 27 carries for 111 yards. Quarterback Tom Bosek completed three passes in the game for 14 yards and a touchdown.

Brandon Christianson caught two of those passes for 12 yards. Mckennen Plaster caught one pass for two yards and a touchdown, and also rushed seven times for 63 yards.

Defensively, James Huisman, Cody Lund and Skyler Quinn had 8.5 tackles each.

The Chargers are now 3-3 on the season and will play their final regular season home game this Friday against Verndale.
