Auditions set for 'Christmas Belles'
Prairie Wind Players will be holding auditions for Christmas Belles on Thursday, September 1 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, September 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Roosevelt Hall in Barrett.
Seven women and seven men are needed. The play will be performed November 17-20. Rehearsals will begin about six weeks prior to the performances.
Christmas Belles takes place at Christmastime in the small town of Fayro, Texas. The Futrelle sisters - Frankie, Twink and Honey Raye - are not in a festive mood. Frankie is weeks overdue with her second set of twins. Twink, recently jilted and bitter about it, is in jail for inadvertently burning down half the town. And hot-flash suffering Honey Raye is trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb's Christmas Program from spiraling into chaos.
The Futrelles' hilarious holiday journey through a misadventure filled Christmas Eve is guaranteed to bring joy to the world - and the audience.
