Auditions coming up for Prairie Wind Players 'Dearly Beloved'
Auditions for Prairie Wind Players, Dearly Beloved, a play produced by Kathy Ray, will take place April 25 and 26.
The auditions will take place Sunday, April 25 at 5 p.m. and on Monday, April 26 at 7 p.m. at the Barrett Roosevelt Hall.
Dearly Beloved is a wildly funny, contemporary comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.
Casting for the play calls for four men and seven women ages 18 and older.
The audition process will include reading from the script and some improvisation. Special consideration will be given to those who perform any short prepared or memorized piece.
Auditions are open to people from throughout the area and no previous acting experience is required.
Rehearsals will take place weekday nights and some weekends in the Barrett Roosevelt Hall.
All cast members must be available during the production week, which will begin June 16. Performance dates are June 24-27.
