Area resident wins $7,000 in Lottery
Raymond Castonguay of Alexandria recently won $7,000 by playing the Minnesota Lottery's Crossword Multiplier scratch game.
He claimed the prize April 19. The winning ticket was purchased at Super America, 1422 Broadway in Alexandria.
Proceeds from the Minnesota State Lottery benefit all Minnesotans. Since 1990, the Lottery has raised more than $2.2 billion for state programs. The general fund has received more than $1.3 billion to help fund education, public safety and health and human services. More than $875 million has funded environmental programs.
