Zach Hintermeister's 22 points and five assists helped Brandon-Evansville break out of a slump as the Chargers upended Parkers Prairie 65-42 Friday night.

The win broke a three-game losing streak for the Chargers, who led by 13 at the half.

"The guys really put forth an effort tonight at the defensive end," said Brandon-Evansville head coach John Holsten. "Good individual contributions defensively were made by Hunter Langlie, Blake Satterlie, Billie Juul, Pat Schaffer and Hintermeister. We limited them to one shot most of the time and most of their shots were well contested."

The Chargers outrebounded the Panthers 22-19 as Jared Goehringer had nine of those 22.
