The Faction Snowboard competition was held on Saturday with 45 competitors, followed by a radar run. The fastest time of the day was 51 miles per hour down the Hollywood High run. Jason Nordsmen from Watertown, South Dakota, was the fastest person, skiing at 51 mph, and Eric Burley was the fastest snowboarder at 44 mph.

On Sunday, festivities began with a garbage bag race down Hollywood High. The participants put a big garbage bag on over their clothing, dove off the top of the hill and cruised down the run at speeds of more than 30 miles per hour. The Wagner family from Alexandria walked away with the awards as Sarah won the women's competition, J.C. won the kids' heat and Jason won the men's division.

The water cup race is a competition that requires skill and speed. Each participant begins at the top of the hill and cruises down the hill as fast as possible while holding a full cup of water in their hand. Mike Braaten of Kensington won the men's division, Shaylee Anderson of Barrett won the women's division, and Jordan Petron of Farwell and Parker Clavin of Hoffman tied for the snowboarder competition.

The Water Skipping Pond Plunge was postponed due to cold weather. The cold weather forced the "pie in the face" competition to go indoors. A total of 52 pies were thrown at various individuals.

Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 are the last two days Andes Tower Hills will be open this winter season.
