The losses came against Willmar, Eau Claire and Duluth as the Huskies won 9-4 and 12-2 over the weekend. Alexandria gave up 50 runs through the five-game losing streak, including falling in an 18-11 game to Eau Claire on August 1.

Jordan Lee was a bright spot offensively for Alexandria as he continues to hit the ball hard this summer. Lee raised his batting average to .333 in 180 at-bats through the weekend and was in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak. The outfielder from Texas Corpus Christi has 10 hits, including three doubles during that span.

The Blue Anchors are coming down the stretch of their season with just five games left on the schedule. That starts with a game in Madison tonight, Wednesday, before Alexandria returns home for a four-game home stand to close out the season.

The Blue Anchors will play Waterloo on Thursday and Friday with a 6:35 and 7:05 p.m. start time, respectively. They will then welcome in Rochester on Saturday at 7:05 and again on Sunday with a 1:05 p.m. first pitch for the season finale.
