American Solutions for Business holds winter conference
American Solutions for Business (ASB) held its national sales conference in Orlando, Florida, Saturday through Tuesday, January 4-7. A total of 305 sales associates registered for the conference and more than 120 vendors participated in the ASB Vendor Expo.
The four-day convention was held in conjunction with the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) Orlando show. The ASB conference theme, Living the American Dream, reflected the new mission statement, which was formally revealed during Saturday’s general session.
ASB’s 10-member leadership team, which wrote the mission statement, also identified the core values and cornerstones that are fundamental elements of the company’s vision.
“Our new mission statement is simple and straightforward,” said Larry Zavadil, founder and CEO. “We help people live their American Dream. This statement expresses for us the essence of what America is all about.”
ASB holds two sales conferences a year for the purpose of bringing sales associates, home office personnel and vendor partners together for education and networking opportunities and to share business updates.
ASB is a distributor of printing, promotional products, eCommerce, office supplies and strategic marketing solutions. It employs a staff of nearly 300 employees who support a sales force of more than 550 professionals.
Based in Glenwood, the company was founded in 1981 and now serves more than 35,000 clients nationwide. ASB has been employee-owned since 2000.
