Alexandria woman wins $10,000 in Powerball
Doreen Suchy of Alexandria won $10,000 by playing the Minnesota Lottery’s Powerball game.
Suchy claimed the prize on October 9. The winning ticket was purchased at Holiday, 320 3rd Avenue East, Alexandria.
Since 1990, the Lottery has raised more than $2.2 billion for state programs. The general fund has received $1.3 billion to help fund education, public safety and health, and human services. More than $875 million has funded environmental programs.
