Alexandria track and field: Cards are fourth, sixth in CLC championships

The Alexandria girls finished fourth in the Central Lakes Conference championships at Sartell Thursday, while the boys' team finished sixth.

Wensia Johnson claimed three first place finishes, winning the 100 and 200-meter dashes, then taking the top spot in the long jump.

Megan Hasz won the 3,200-meter run, Karly Betterman the triple jump and Briquelle Bowden the high jump.

The girls' 4x100 relay was also first.

The boys' team had two first place finishes as Mitch Peck won the 300-meter intermediate hurdles and Zac Bartolomeo won the 800-meter run.
