The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public's help in solving an armed robbery that happened at the Subway restaurant, 902 Broadway, on Sunday night.

The robbery occurred at 8:35 p.m. while the store was open. The suspect was a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a medium to slender build wearing a dark-colored jacket with a grey hood.

Police believe this jacket to be a jacket/sweatshirt combination made by “Dickies." He was also wearing a grey colored stocking cap that appeared to have hand-cut eye holes, black-knit mittens with a light-colored design on top, light-colored blue jeans and dark-colored shoes. He walked in the store and pointed a black-colored handgun at the female employee.

See attached photos and video clip.

The suspect also has a pronounced outstep on both legs and feet but the suspect’s right leg and foot are very pronounced pointing outward. If you recognize someone matching this description, you're urged to contact the Alexandria Police Department at (320) 763-6631.
